We are seeking a.... Server Assistant to join our restaurant team and support exceptional dining experiences rooted in thoughtful, heartfelt hospitality. This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, attentive, team-oriented, and passionate about creating a seamless and welcoming experience for every guest.

The Server Assistant works closely with servers, bartenders, culinary teams, and leadership to maintain smooth service flow and uphold Lyle’s culture, mission, and commitment to exceptional guest experiences.

Server Assistant – Essential Functions

  • Support servers and bartenders to ensure smooth, efficient service throughout each shift
  • Set, clear, and reset tables according to restaurant standards
  • Refill water, clear plates, and assist with table maintenance during service
  • Assist with food running and support overall dining room operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations
  • Anticipate guest and team needs and respond promptly and professionally
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house and culinary teams to ensure seamless service
  • Assist with opening and closing side work duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Previous restaurant experience preferred, but not required
  • Hotel experience is not required — a fun, welcoming personality is a must
  • Positive attitude with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Ability to remain organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and guest service mindset
  • Flexible schedule required, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Commitment to high service standards; Forbes standards knowledge is a plus

Compensation:

$10.00 per hour plus gratuity
