We are now accepting applications for the following position:

SERVER ASSISTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Greet guests promptly, courteously, and professionally, maintaining eye contact, a welcoming smile, and positive body language.
• Support the delivery of an enjoyable dining experience by assisting with food and beverage service to established service standards.
• Serve and clear food and beverage items in a professional and unobtrusive manner.
• Maintain a working knowledge of menus, ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials.
• Support wine and beverage service and be familiar with service standards and appropriate glassware.
• Complete opening and closing side duties as assigned and ensure service stations are fully stocked and prepared.
• Assist with setting and clearing tables according to established standards.
• Support Servers by delivering food and beverages accurately and efficiently.
• Follow established procedures for guest requests and service delivery.
• Carry trays and transport food and beverage items safely.
• Reset tables quickly and efficiently to maintain service flow.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly communicate concerns to a supervisor or manager.
• Maintain awareness of potentially intoxicated, disruptive, or undesirable guests and report concerns to management.
• Conduct oneself professionally at all times in accordance with international hospitality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 1-2 years of restaurant, hospitality, or food service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food, beverage, and service standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while supporting Servers and Supervisors.
• Professional, guest-focused, and positive attitude.
• Ability to carry trays, stand for extended periods, and work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Flexible to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings, public holidays, and across different outlets as required.
• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness, organization, and high service standards.

Salary: USD$8.00 - USD$9.00 per hour + gratuities

Benefits: In accordance with Cayman Islands law

Location: Palm Heights, Grand Cayman
