About the role

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Server Assistant to support our Talavera team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Talavera is a contemporary Spanish steakhouse featuring Latin-inspired flavors, from paella and dry-aged steaks to jamón ibérico, fresh seafood, and vibrant tapas, complemented by over 350 world-class wines and handcrafted cocktails.

What you will do

• Clearing, cleaning and set-up/break down of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service while supporting servers with performing steps of service to restaurant guests

• Greeting guests and providing water & beverages

• Delivering food and supporting the kitchen and expo line.

• Cleanliness of restaurant area

What you bring

• Previous Server Assistant experience in a fine dining restaurant establishment preferred.

• Basic Wine/Food/Spirit knowledge a plus

• Must be able to be on feet for entire shift and communicate with guests appropriately and effectively

Schedule & Hours

• Full Time

• Hours 32 + per week

• Scheduled shifts can range 3pm-10pm, with the exception of large parties (ie. weddings, group buy-outs, etc)

• Open for dinner from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm Wednesday through Sunday.

Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S.
