To provide server expertise, advice and support to develop operational implementation plans and / or associated service delivery processes, in order to continuously enhance service delivery

Are you someone who can

Drive business profitability in the context of cost management through Information technology solutions
Increase operational efficiency and suggest solutions to enhance cost effectiveness.
Ensure Hardware and Software asset management of deployed environments are controlled to ensure investment turn
Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions by resolving queries fast end effective
Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME’s, project managers and senior staff members by providing input to business requirements
Install, configure, maintain and monitoring an environment consisting of Windows and Linux servers connected to a SAN environment by ensuring both physical and virtual servers on both platforms are controlled and manage server operating systems and application software and hardware upgrades
Comply, understand and implement all steps within IT development and meet governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements by applying and maintaining the security policies according to FRB Audit standards
Perform UAT setup, testing, technical and maintenance tasks and ensure that all system alerts are rectified and escalated accordingly through providing all technical support for business servers and applications
Manage and maintain customer Service Level Agreements (SLA) to install, maintain and support with Server requirements
Ensure the adherence to architectural standards and compliance and conformance to internal change management procedures and policies
Provision of an efficient administration service through careful and timeous planning, reporting and updating of all related information
Manage own development to increase own competencies
Ensure the continuous availability of all DR/Training/Prod/ UAT/ Dev environments
Manage own development to increase own competencies

Additional Requirements

Must have 3-5 years' experience in Linux
Must have 3-5 years' experience in Ansible
Must have experience in YAML
