Job Description
Be responsible for the integral management of the servers, ensuring their efficient operation, security, and high availability. This role involves configuring, updating, and maintaining server hardware and software, monitoring system performance, planning capacity, and carrying out preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain VMWare and Nutanix server virtualization environments.
- Ensure high availability and security of server infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Plan and execute capacity planning and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 4-7 years of experience in server administration and virtualization.
- Proficiency in VMWare Server Virtualization and Nutanix Server Virtualization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
- Experience with Azure Virtual Network and Citrix Server is a plus.
