The first Rosati’s Authentic Chicago Pizzeria was opened in Mt. Prospect, IL in 1964, serving pizza that was and still is based on a family recipe that dates back to the turn of the century. Today, Rosati's Pizza is the second-largest local restaurant chain in the Chicagoland area. Rosati’s Pizza provides signature thin-crust, double dough and Chicago-style deep-dish pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, calzones, salads, entrees, desserts, alcoholic beverages and catering.
Rosati’s Pizza redefined the Sports Bar category with their new neighborhood style Sports Pubs. In 2011, the executive team at Rosati’s recognized that an opportunity existed within the Sports Bar category. Traditional sports bar models featured large stand-alone locations in high traffic shopping districts with menus and atmospheres that were NOT family friendly. Rosati’s designed a smaller Sports Pub concept that would be a family friendly neighborhood destination and features a menu with Chicago style pizza and daily Italian fare.
