32 Palm is a contemporary coastal restaurant located inside the Hilton Ocean City Oceanfront Suites, offering a refined yet approachable dining experience. Known for its fresh seafood, elevated American cuisine, and polished service, 32 Palm serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a dynamic resort environment. The restaurant caters to hotel guests, vacationing families, and local patrons seeking quality cuisine and exceptional hospitality.

32 Palm operates within a high-volume, seasonal beachfront market, requiring strong operational leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

The Server provides table service to restaurant patrons by taking orders for food and beverages, delivering orders to the table, and ensuring that patrons have a pleasant dining experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Greets customers as they are seated at the table; ensures the table is clean and that utensil, napkins, and other needs have been provided.
2. Distributes menus and presents the daily specials.
3. Answers questions regarding the menu.
4. Takes food and beverage orders and delivers them to the kitchen.
5. Delivers food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to customers.
6. Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to customers satisfaction; returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen.
7. Collects plates and clears the table as customers finish their meals.
8. Prepares customers checks and collects payments.
9. Assists with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

1. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
2. Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
3. Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.

Education and Experience:

1. Must be at least sixteen years old (at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages).
2. Previous experience as a server preferred.
3. Must successfully complete restaurants training course.

Physical Requirements:

1. Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
2. Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
