NextSilicon is reimagining high-performance computing (HPC & AI). Our accelerated compute solutions leverage intelligent adaptive algorithms to vastly accelerate supercomputers, driving them forward into a new generation. The AI Runtime is the layer responsible for attaching the AI framework and optimizing the accelerator runtime to best execute the AI workload. You will demonstrate creative and critical thinking capabilities and have a genuine passion for tackling complex low-level software issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Exceptional skills in software architecture design and C/C++ programming.
• Experience with contributing to and delivering large codebase projects to production.
• Deep foundational knowledge of operating systems, including memory management, device handling, Inter-Process Communication (IPC), and runtime environments.
• Hands-on experience with embedded development and OS internals.
• A strong commitment to developing high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Develop a state-of-the-art AI framework and compiler stack that runs efficiently on our next-generation hardware, delivering best-in-class AI acceleration
• Build high-performance backends for leading AI frameworks such as PyTorch and Tensorflow
• Contribute to the design of NextSilicon's next-generation AI hardware by modeling and analyzing performance
