We're Arctic Adventures, and we connect travelers with the wonders of Icelandic nature. Founded in 1983 by an Icelandic couple, we've spent over 40 years building Iceland's largest adventure tour operator. Today we're a team of guides, customer care specialists, marketers, sales, operations, and IT, based in Vilnius and Iceland.

About the role

We're looking for a SEO Writer to join our Marketing team in Vilnius. This is not a creative copywriting role, and it's not short-form work. It's a strategic writing position for someone who owns long-form SEO content from brief to publish and is used to working inside tight guidelines.

You'll produce in-depth travel guides, attraction pages, and informational articles that need to rank in Google, get cited in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, and stand up to fact-checking. You'll execute against detailed SEO briefs, research topics from primary sources, and maintain our brand voice across everything you publish.

AI tools are part of the job, not a shortcut around it. We expect you to use Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools fluently in your daily workflow for research acceleration, outlining, editing, and stress-testing drafts, while keeping full editorial judgment and factual accuracy in your own hands.

What you'll do

• Write long-form SEO content against detailed briefs, at a high quality standard.
• Research topics from primary sources and verify claims.
• Optimize for both traditional SEO and AI search (AEO/GEO).
• Use AI tools daily as research and editing accelerators with full awareness.
• Apply brand voice, content guidelines, and E-E-A-T principles consistently.
• Audit and refresh existing content to maintain rankings and AI visibility as algorithms shift.
• Collaborate with SEO, editorial, and design teams.
• Deliver on deadlines and apply editorial feedback.

Requirements

• SEO writing or content strategy experience.
• A portfolio of ranked SEO content, ideally in English markets.
• Native-level written English (American English preferred).
• On-page SEO fluency and AEO/GEO know-how.
• Daily AI tool fluency (Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalents).
• Strong research skills: primary sources, studies, official guidance.
• Process discipline: you hit briefs and deadlines, and keep quality consistent.
• Located in Vilnius, able to work on-site 3 days per week.

Monthly Salary

From 2500 eur gross monthly (depending on your experience and expertise).
