Where and how you can work

Alongside our global campuses, we also collaborate with talented contractors and freelancers from all over the world to help us achieve our crazy big goals. While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role we’re focusing on Buenos Aires, Argentina, so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.

This role is a 12-month engagement, working full-time hours.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

Link building is evolving fast — LLMs are changing how authority signals work, and what earned placements yesterday might not work tomorrow. As our SEO Outreach & Partnership Specialist for Argentina, you'll build high-quality backlinks and explore brand mention opportunities for priority landing pages, balancing proven tactics with experimentation as the search landscape shifts.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Researching prospects, writing personalized outreach, and building relationships with Argentine publishers, journalists, and content creators
  • Managing end-to-end outreach workflows — from first contact through to placement and long-term relationship maintenance
  • Securing high-quality, editorial backlinks that meet Canva's white-hat quality standards, without paying for links
  • Identifying and pursuing strategic brand mention opportunities across relevant platforms
  • Running experiments on tactics, messaging, and AI-powered automation, and sharing what you learn with the global outreach team
  • Staying connected to the local marketing, partnerships, and product teams to spot where outreach can create value

You're Probably a Match If:

  • You're a native Spanish speaker with business-level English
  • You have 1-2 years of experience in link building, SEO, digital or a related outreach-focused role
  • You understand the Argentine digital publishing landscape and can build authentic, trust-based relationships remotely
  • You're resilient with rejection — able to reframe conversations and negotiate win-win placements
  • You're comfortable using AI tools for research, drafting, and analysis
  • You take ownership — proposing optimizations and solving problems rather than waiting for instructions
