War Child is looking for a:

SEO Audit, Strategy and Growth Support for WarChild.net

"Drives search visibility and organic growth to expand War Child's global reach"

War Child Alliance Foundation has launched a new global website, WarChild.net, to strengthen visibility, thought leadership, advocacy, fundraising, partnership development and engagement with key audiences. The Foundation seeks specialist SEO expertise to ensure the site is discoverable, technically robust and optimised for sustainable organic growth. There is also the potential for related support in establishing google analytics.

What you will do

Purpose of the Consultancy

Assess, optimise and strengthen the search engine performance of the new WarChild.net website through a comprehensive SEO review, strategy development and implementation roadmap.

Objectives

1. Conduct a comprehensive SEO audit.
2. Keyword research.
3. Assess technical SEO performance.
4. Review architecture, content structure and user journeys.
5. Benchmark against comparable NGOs and humanitarian organisations.
6. Identify opportunities to improve rankings and visibility, including for AI answers.
7. Develop a prioritised SEO roadmap.
8. Submit SEO roadmap to Google Search Console.
9. Track, adapt and report on initial SEO trend of War Child's website following its set-up.
10. Build internal understanding of SEO best practice with clear actionable next steps.

Scope of Work

Technical SEO audit, content and on-page SEO review, competitor benchmarking, SEO strategy development and implementation guidance, Google Tag Manager setup and guidance.

Expected Outcomes

Improved search visibility, prioritised recommendations, a practical SEO strategy, stronger internal capability and a framework for measuring performance.

Your profile

Required Qualifications and Experience

Strong SEO expertise, AI SEO, website launch and migration experience, proven delivery of organic growth strategies, analytical skills and experience working with purpose-led organisations.

Reporting and Management

The consultant will report to the Head of Communications, War Child Alliance Foundation.
