Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Maintenance Planning Programs Manager 2 to be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
As the Maintenance Planning Manager for Sentinel, the selected candidate will support the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Program Manager in the identification, planning, resourcing and implementation of maintenance concepts and requirements. The Maintenance Planning Lead will be responsible for leading the Maintenance Planning and Management activities for Sentinel and will integrate with design teams, sustaining engineering and logistics functions to ensure success.
What You’ll Get To Do:
The Maintenance Planning Lead is responsible for:
• Influencing product design for supportability
• Assisting the government customer in refining their Maintenance Planning requirements
• Ensuring program compliance with all applicable government weapon system maintenance regulations and instructions
• Establishing and implementing maintenance concepts, plans, and processes
• Planning for the eventual deployment and sustainment of the Sentinel weapon system
• Delivering Maintenance Planning products and services to sustain system operational readiness to include Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Support Equipment Requirements Documents (SERD), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and Logistics Product Data (LDP)
• Partners with the Technical Orders and Training teams to inform maintenance tasks and support equipment required
• Briefing program leadership and customers on all Maintenance Planning aspects of the program
• Managing Maintenance Planning program Cost, Schedule and Technical performance and the reporting of Earned Value Metrics
• Respond to government RFIs and RFPs and participate in the negotiation of contracts and contract changes
• Establish and execute to program Milestones and award fee criteria
• Direct the work of the employees assigned to Maintenance Planning

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years related experience, or Masters Degree and 6 years related experience or in lieu of degree 4 additional years of experience
• At least 6 years of experience in related Product Support functional areas
• Experience with Microsoft Office tool suite
• Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
• Master of Science Degree in a field related to Program Management or Logistics disciplines
• Current or ability to gain Top Secret DoD Clearance
• Experience with LSA/data developed in accordance with GEIA-STD-0007, logistics footprint data, level of repair analysis and support equipment requirements
• Experience with NG software tools (SAP, DoD, Eagle, Reliasoft and practices)
• Experience leading a Product Support team
Primary Level Salary Range: $139,100.00 - $208,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
