PDG help clients achieve their business goals through strong technical capability, innovative thinking, and a commitment to excellence. Our team delivers world-class projects across the metals and mining, infrastructure, and energy sectors, combining deep engineering expertise with proven project delivery methodologies. We are seeking a Senior Piping Designer to join a major hydrometallurgy project and play a key role in the design and delivery of a complex processing facility. Working as part of a globally integrated project team, you will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders across multiple regions to develop and coordinate piping and plant design solutions. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of piping design activities from concept through detailed design, contribute to multidisciplinary design reviews, mentor junior designers, and support the successful delivery of a technically challenging project within a large EPCM environment.
Key Responsibilities
About You
You will hold a Diploma of Engineering or have relevant experience in piping and mechanical plant design within large-scale EPCM projects. You will have bentley microstation and OpenPlant experience along with strong 3D modelling capabilities and a proven track record delivering designs for minerals processing, hydrometallurgical, or bulk materials handling (BMH) facilities. Experience working within globally distributed project teams will be highly regarded. You are a collaborative and proactive professional with strong communication skills, capable of building effective working relationships across disciplines, mentoring others, and independently delivering high-quality design outcomes in a fast-paced project environment.
