About the Role

As a Senior Network Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, implementing, operating, and continuously improving Cisco campus and enterprise networking environments for customers across Denmark.

You'll work across Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco Catalyst LAN, Enterprise Wireless, Meraki, and network automation. The role covers the full lifecycle - from new designs and deployments to implementation, operations, problem resolution, and optimization in existing customer environments. You'll also help customers evolve their network infrastructure to support increasing capacity, performance, and security requirements driven by cloud, AI, and connected devices.

You'll also contribute to automation and standardization across network platforms, helping customers and colleagues improve efficiency, consistency, and operational quality.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Design and deliver business-critical Cisco campus and enterprise networking solutions.
• Work with Cisco ISE, Catalyst Center, Catalyst LAN and Enterprise Wireless.
• Design, implement and optimize enterprise Wi-Fi, including site surveys and wireless design.
• Use Python, Netmiko, Bash, Ansible, and REST APIs to automate network tasks.
• Contribute to standardization, reusable workflows, best practices and efficient network operations.
• Develop your skills through Cisco certifications, technical training, labs and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Cisco ISE, from new deployments to operations and new solutions for existing customers.
• Design and implement Cisco Catalyst Center, including Plug and Play (PnP) for switch deployments and optimization of Catalyst Center capabilities.
• Operate and implement Cisco LAN based on the Catalyst platform and IOS/IOS-XE.
• Design, implement and optimize Cisco Wireless solutions, including site surveys, wireless design and enterprise Wi-Fi optimization.
• Automate tasks across network platforms using Python, Netmiko, Bash, Ansible and REST APIs.
• Develop reusable automation workflows and contribute to standardization of network deliveries.
• Perform smaller firewall tasks on Cisco FMC/FTD, including Cisco Secure Client (VPN), Umbrella and firewall rules.
• Perform smaller routing tasks and related troubleshooting.
• Take technical lead on selected customer activities and contribute to knowledge sharing and the development of colleagues.

Required Skills & Experience:

We're looking for an experienced Network Engineer with a solid background in Cisco networking and customer-facing delivery.

Cisco Networking:

• Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Network Access Control.
• Cisco Catalyst Center and Plug and Play (PnP).
• Cisco Catalyst platforms and IOS/IOS-XE.
• Enterprise LAN, Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking and routing.
• Cisco Enterprise Wireless, including site surveys, wireless design and optimization.
• Network automation using Python, Netmiko, Bash, Ansible and REST APIs.
• Cisco FMC/FTD, Cisco Secure Client (VPN), Umbrella and firewall rules.
• Experience with Cisco Meraki is an advantage.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with API-based automation and development of reusable workflows is an advantage.
• Experience with enterprise network modernization and lifecycle activities is an advantage.
• Relevant Cisco certifications beyond CCNP are an advantage.

Certifications:

Cisco CCNP Enterprise certification is expected. Additional relevant Cisco certifications are valued, but practical experience and the ability to translate technology into customer value are equally important.

Additional Requirements:

• Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain Danish security clearance.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across Denmark.
