The Senior/Staff Engineer, Electrical Reliability reports to the Reliability Superintendent and is the technical steward for Electrical Systems. In addition, they are responsible for supporting system maintenance and improving these systems including all associated documentation. The Senior/Staff Engineer, Electrical Reliability will provide discipline expertise to less experienced support staff, maintenance, and production groups. The Senior/ Staff Engineer, Electrical supports the Reliability Superintendent with driving continuous improvement within the maintenance and operation of assets to ensure the highest level of asset availability. Individuals filling this position will be dedicated and have a high sensitivity to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) issues and shall ensure reliability programs comply with Company’s policies and procedures for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the terminal.

KNOWLEDGE:
The Senior/Staff Engineer, Electrical Reliability has expert level knowledge of industrial electrical systems, equipment, codes, standards, and regulations and their implementation in operating facilities. Understands all aspects of heavy industrial transportation, storage, and processing including health, safety, maintenance, operations, governmental regulations, and associated codes and standards.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education, Training and Certifications
Senior Engineer, Electrical (Reliability):Highschool Diploma or GED is required.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
Staff Engineer, Electrical (Reliability): Highschool Diploma or GED is required . Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Senior Engineer, Electrical (Reliability): Minimum of five (5)+ years of relevant experience in an industrial setting in engineering, operations, maintenance or other related technical function. LNG facility experience is preferred; however, petrochemical, NGL, cryogenic natural gas processing or other hydrocarbon processing experience is acceptable.
Staff Engineer, Electrical (Reliability): Minimum of ten (10)+ years of relevant experience in an industrial setting in engineering, operations, maintenance or other related technical function. LNG facility experience is strongly preferred; however, petrochemical, NGL, cryogenic natural gas processing or other hydrocarbon processing experience may be acceptable.

WORK CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, work at height above ground on stairs and catwalks, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, or hear, smell, type, and write.
Must be able to board a ship via a gangway, climb to the top of a tank (200+ steps), scale a vertical steel ladder up to forty feet or more in height, and lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work indoors and outdoors, and be exposed to year-around weather conditions, ocean environment, noise, and occasionally process gases and vapors. There is a considerable number of outdoor activities involved.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Subject to drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations or as required by Cheniere.
Required to pass regularly scheduled physical examinations mandated by regulatory authorities.
All responsibilities must be met in a call-out environment, including holidays, weekends, and nights.
Must maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in good standing status.
