
[What the role is]
As part of the Plans section within the Air Navigation Services Planning and Development Division (ANSPD), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aviation in Singapore. Your work will support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that enhance the operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability of the aviation sector.
[What you will be working on]
You will be part of a proactive team that drives CAAS’ strategic and master planning efforts, ensuring alignment with national goals and international standards, while fostering innovation, resilience, adaptability in the rapidly evolving aviation landscape.
Key responsibilities include the following:
Develop strategic plan and masterplan that address current and future challenges in the aviation sector.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of aviation trends and challenges, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making.
Map various initiatives to develop a comprehensive roadmap to transform air navigation services, and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
Collaborate with various stakeholders including aviation ecosystem partners, regional air navigation services providers, and internal teams, to gather feedback and foster collaboration in the strategic planning process.
Monitor and evaluate the progress of strategic initiatives, and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
[What we are looking for]
Pre-requisites
At least 3 years experience in strategic planning, master planning or related fields.
Training in relevant disciplines such as public policy, business administration, or aviation management.
Preferred skillsets
Capability to develop comprehensive strategic plans and masterplans.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A strong commitment to achieving excellence in strategic outcomes.
Your appointment designation will be commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract initially, with potential for permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
