Purpose:
We are currently recruiting for a Senior/Lead Project Planner. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Work Conditions:
This position will be responsible for establishing overall, integrated EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) P6 schedules, including schedules for bids/proposal. Candidate is expected to fully understand all aspects of the EPCM life cycle as it relates to schedules, how to achieve integration amongst several contributors (i.e. Contractors schedules), and how to properly resource load in all phases of the project. In addition, they will need to utilize all the tooling available to them to achieve these goals, including: deliverable lists, engineering and procurement flow charts, 3D models, work packages, drawings, and estimating information.
In addition to building these schedules, and most importantly, the planner/scheduler will be required to provide ongoing updates, maintenance, and analysis of their schedules. The planner/scheduler will consider identification of issues often and early as instrumental to the success of their role. They should be able to identify solutions for most of the common issues with this type of schedule and correct for them without intervention from project or client management.
The Planner/Scheduler will provide detailed time analysis to the integrated project team and will inform them of potential delays and/or opportunities in an expeditious fashion.
Able to perform and excel in a fast-paced environment and willingness to be flexible depending on departmental requirements e.g. accountability for multiple projects may be expected.

For applicants based in the province of British Columbia, the salary range is $120K to $140K
Application of the pay band: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
