We are recruiting on behalf of a leading data center for an experienced Senior/Lead Automation Tester to join their Software Engineering team.

This is a hands-on technical role with genuine leadership responsibility. You will own your deliverables, drive quality standards across the team, mentor junior testers, and work closely with developers and stakeholders in an Agile/DevOps environment.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing scope, objectives, and robust test strategies
• 
  Design, build, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks using
  Playwright
• 
  Perform functional, integration, regression, and API testing
• 
  Log, track, and reproduce defects using Jira or Azure DevOps
• 
  Work with databases and CI/CD pipelines to validate backend data integrity and support continuous deployment
• 
  Guide and mentor junior testers, review test scripts, and drive continuous quality improvement
• 
  Introduce and streamline testing processes in collaboration with the development team
• 
  Provide clear reporting and communicate effectively with senior management

Requirements

Experience with Azure; AWS experience considered acceptable

• 
  Manual testing ability for certain tasks (automation remains the main focus)
• 
  Experience with MS SQL Server and data access methods, SQL, and database technologies (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL), including Stored Procedures
• 
  Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum and DevOps delivery cycles
• 
  Experience logging, tracking, and reproducing defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
• 
  Good written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with senior management, write emails, and translate user requirements
• 
  Ability to introduce, adopt, and streamline testing processes while coordinating effectively with the software development team
