Who we’re looking for:

SENIOR/CHIEF ENGINEER

Are you fastidious, detail-oriented and extremely mechanically inclined? Then this could be the job for you. Our Senior/Chief Engineer is responsible for the maintenance of our entire hotel property in accordance with impeccable Staypineapple standards.

What to expect:

Here are a few things that will make your days full and rewarding:

1. Ensuring maintenance of the hotel property is performed in a timely manner without impacting the guest experience.
2. Supervising, coaching and mentoring the maintenance staff, including assigning and reviewing work, preparing performance reviews, interviewing/hiring and assessing team work ethic.
3. Collaborating with Area Supervisors and General Managers on major repair needs.
4. Doing preventative maintenance and repairs on all hotel equipment with minimum downtime to major systems (laundry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.).

Your experience and qualifications:

1. Minimum of eight years of experience in facilities work preferably in a hotel or commercial office environment.
2. Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
3. Systems Maintenance Administrator (S.M.A) Certificate, Certified Engineering Operations Executive (C.E.O.E.) or equivalent preferred.
4. Strong preventative maintenance background.

Pay: $40.31 per hour
