The Senior QA Analyst will be responsible for support testing, configuration validation, and quality assurance across Workday Benefits and Compensation modules. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate benefit and compensation processing, integrations, and compliance through comprehensive test planning and execution within an Agile environment. The ideal candidate brings strong functional Workday knowledge, hands-on QA leadership experience, and the ability to collaborate closely with business and technical teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute quality assurance testing for the Workday Payroll module, including pay-related components (e.g., Legion Experience), Absence, and related configurations

  • Develop and manage test plans, test scenarios, and test cases, ensuring full coverage of payroll and absence processes

  • Serve as QA lead for payroll initiatives, coordinating testing efforts across releases, enhancements, and defect remediation

  • Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage user stories, test execution, defects, and traceability

  • Validate Workday configurations to ensure they meet business, regulatory, and system requirements

  • Partner with functional, technical, and business stakeholders to identify risks, clarify requirements, and ensure high-quality outcomes

  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

  • Ensure testing aligns with Agile delivery timelines and supports continuous improvement

  • Document test results, defects, and recommendations clearly and concisely

  • Support payroll-related audits and compliance efforts through accurate testing documentation and validation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, a degree in a related field

  • 5+ years of experience of Workday HCM Modules (Benefits & Compensation)

  • Hands-on experience with Workday Benefits and Compensation modules testing

  • Strong background in QA/testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and integration testing

  • Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage testing, user stories, and defects

  • Workday configuration experience, with the ability to understand and validate complex setups

  • Proven experience leading test planning and execution efforts

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
