The Senior Well Engineering Modeling & Simulation Technologist does researches, develops and advances engineering models, numerical simulation capabilities, optimization methods, and software-based workflows for well design and drilling applications. The role strengthens Landmark’s technical capacity to support existing products and customer commitments while accelerating the development of next-generation well-engineering technologies.
Working across technology, product, software development, and customer-facing teams, the technologist translates engineering theory and research into reliable product capabilities. Initial priorities may include gas migration and well-control modeling for a major customer initiative and the development of AI-enabled automated well-design and optimization workflows. The role creates value by improving model quality, accelerating science-to-product transition, and providing continuity for specialized well-engineering expertise.
