Job Description

Advantage FSE is looking for a Senior Front-End software developer to participate in the implementation of web applications for Digital Banking. You will help build our new features and improve the existing ones. You should be able to deliver Responsive Web applications across a wide range of devices, from desktops to tablets and mobile phones.

What will you be doing?

    • Design, develop, test and maintain web applications.
    • Collaborate with the Back-End developers in order to integrate a REST API.
    • Work with our Product Management associates on new exciting features that will impress both our Banking clients as well as their end-customers.
    • Engage with UX and visual designers to implement highly intuitive user experiences.
    • Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and propose solutions.
    • Provide technical reviews, solution proposals, and time / effort estimates for development tasks.
    • Participate in peer code reviews.
    • Pursue opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

    • Team players who can create consensus whilst also challenging ideas & assumptions.

What do your qualifications look like?

    • Deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals (ES5 and ESNext), with the ability to write framework-agnostic code and work effectively across different technology stacks.
    • Develop and maintain web applications using Angular, React.js and AngularJS frameworks.
    • Experience with the React.js ecosystem, including state management libraries and modern React patterns.
    • Build responsive user interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript practices.
    • Implement and manage bundling and build processes using tools like Webpack and Grunt.
    • Apply web security best practices (e.g., XSS prevention, CSRF protection, secure authentication) during development and deployment.
    • Integrate with CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, building, and deployment.
    • Utilize CSS preprocessors such as Sass or LESS for scalable and maintainable styling.
    • Optimize web performance through efficient asset management and lazy loading.
    • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
    • Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and QA teams to deliver robust solutions.
    • Maintain and progressively migrate legacy AngularJS code to Angular.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
    • Follow and contribute to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
    • Excellent command & usage of English (written & verbal)

What would be nice to have?

    • Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) processes to enhance web applications with AI-driven features.
    • Experience with Spring Boot for backend integration and service development.
