Senior Web Application Developer

About the Opportunity:

CoventBridge Group’s IT Department is seeking a Senior Web Application Developer to design, develop, maintain and troubleshoot web-based applications. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn modern technologies while proficient at legacy frameworks. This includes configuring, coding, developing, maintaining, updating and documenting applications.

Responsibilities/ Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop web-based solutions using Javascript Frontend with .NET and Typescript backends
  • Maintain legacy ASP, .NET, and MVC application
  • Analyze and document business needs
  • Optimize processes to reduce ongoing IT Support costs
  • Troubleshoot IT related application issues

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with web development in .NET, Typescript and Javascript
  • Proficient in Javascript Frontends, NodeJS, .NET
  • Experience with JavaScript frontend technologies, VueJs, React and Angular
  • Experience with AWS, Azure
  • Strong SQL Query knowledge
  • Solid understanding of Windows OS and Networking Concepts
  • Understanding of OO design and development concepts
  • Understanding of Unit Testing
  • Relational database design concepts
  • Exposure to working in an AGILE development environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to self-teach and learn on the job
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Educational Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science (or related field)

The salary range for this role is $120k - $145k annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
