We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role performs advanced warehouse functions and serves as a knowledgeable resource within the operation. Qualified candidates must have strong knowledge of warehouse distribution, inventory control practices, and warehouse systems.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing all core warehouse duties with a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform inventory locating, counting, receiving, storing, stocking, and shipping of merchandise within the warehouse.
  • Accurately assemble and verify customer orders from stock, place orders on pallets, and convey orders to packing stations.
  • Receive, inspect, and count incoming daily freight; accurately enter items into the warehouse management system.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies related to freight, inventory variances, and shipping documentation.
  • Perform and reconcile daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Update product maintenance locations and ensure system data integrity on a daily basis.
  • Inspect, process, and restock returns according to established procedures.
  • Monitor and respond to system queues in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Load and unload merchandise during shipping and receiving operations.
  • Safely operate company equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and other lifting machinery.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
  • Work at a consistent and productive pace to meet daily shipping and receiving deadlines.
  • Provide operational support and guidance to team members as needed regarding processes and system usage.

Qualifications/ Skills

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3–5 years of warehouse experience required.
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse distribution and inventory control processes.
  • Experience performing cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
  • Certified material handler with experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, and other lifting machinery.
  • Proficient with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (DataWorks or similar systems preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret procedure manuals and work instructions.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers and customers.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, or pull 75+ lbs on a repetitive basis.

Has developed proficiency through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience. Completes work with a limited degree of supervision. Likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience. Requires proficiency in a range of processes or procedures to carry out assigned tasks. Has a basic understanding of how the team integrates with others. May provide informal guidance and support to more team members.Provides solutions to atypical problems based on proven practices or procedures. Impacts the quality of own work and its contribution to the team. Uses communication skills to regularly exchange information.
