Levata is seeking a Senior Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations with a strong focus on inventory management, shipping, receiving, and execution of established processes. This role serves as an experienced and reliable team member who helps ensure accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across warehouse functions.
The Senior Warehouse Associate acts as a subject matter expert in warehouse processes and provides guidance and support to peers as needed. This role supports warehouse leadership by reinforcing operational standards, safety compliance, and customer service expectations while contributing to overall facility performance.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform and support shipping, receiving, inventory, and fulfillment activities.
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders while maintaining quality and accuracy standards.
- Load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Ensure receiving activities are completed accurately and within established timelines.
- Coordinate inventory transfers between local facilities as needed.
- Dispatch shipments through outside carriers and ensure shipping documentation is complete and accurate.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Inventory Management
- Support cycle counting activities and help maintain inventory accuracy.
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies for resolution.
- Utilize inventory reports and warehouse management tools to identify issues and support improvements.
- Assist with physical inventories, audits, and inventory reconciliation efforts.
- Serve as a peer mentor and support onboarding for new and existing warehouse team members.
- Assist with cross-training initiatives to improve team flexibility.
- Provide guidance to team members during daily operations as needed.
- Reinforce adherence to warehouse procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Support escalation of operational issues to warehouse leadership when appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, accuracy, and safety.
- Provide feedback on process gaps and participate in improvement initiatives led by warehouse leadership.
- Support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
- Assist in maintaining and updating standard operating procedures as directed.
- Partner with Customer Service, Operations, and Sales teams to support order fulfillment and issue resolution.
- Assist with shipment tracking, inventory inquiries, and order-related questions.
- Support service-level goals through timely communication and accurate execution.
What You’ll Need
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, or inventory control experience.
- Experience operating forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Previous experience supporting or training team members preferred.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping processes.
- Knowledge of shipping documentation including Bills of Lading, packing lists, and receiving documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse systems.
