The Senior Vocational Case Manager conducts extensive community outreach, including workshops and presentations to HIV/AIDS community partners, to support participant engagement in the Nassau Employment Initiative (NEI). The role is responsible for enrollment, assessment, case management, job readiness, placement, and retention services that support successful employment outcomes. The Senior Vocational Case Manager also supervises the Employment Specialist.

Education: Associate's degree required, bachelor'spreferred Experience: Minimum of 3 years of related experience required Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with individuals living with HIV/AIDS and knowledge of workforce development, job readiness, assessment, and placement services preferred. Knowledge & Skills: Strong case management, communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clients, employers, and community partners. Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a car for work purposes This role has a hybrid schedule of field work and office work, with flexibility for one remote day after a successful training period. Salary: $60,500Program Overview: The Nassau Employment Initiative (NEI), funded by the NY State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance, is designed to provide outreach, case management, job preparation and job placement along with wrap-around services to individuals with HIV/AIDS in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. The program also provides post-placement supports and off site referrals to meet the needs of our participants.
