About this role:

We are looking for a Senior Visual Communication & Visualization Designer who excels at turning complex concepts, technical systems, and product roadmaps into powerful visual narratives. In this role, you will lead the bridge between visual strategy, motion storytelling, and brand elevation—using dynamic media to make abstract ideas compelling, clear, and actionable.

You will be the primary visual storyteller for the team, crafting high-impact short and long-form video content, detailed storyboards, and polished pitch materials for executive stakeholders and clients. Additionally, you will champion brand consistency across all touchpoints while actively experimenting with emerging generative AI design tools to accelerate visual exploration and narrative workflows.

What you’ll do:

1. Motion, Video Storytelling & Storyboarding

• End-to-End Video Production: Conceptualize, script, storyboard, and edit both short-form (social, rapid concept demos, micro-explainers) and long-form (thought leadership, product deep-dives, narrative case studies) video assets.
• Storyboarding & Pre-Visualization: Craft detailed storyboards, style frames, and animatics that establish pacing, visual style, and narrative flow before full media production.
• Complex Data & Tech Translation: Convert highly technical specifications, abstract frameworks, and strategic product visions into clear, engaging visual narratives and motion graphics.

2. Brand Refinement & Visual Cohesion

• Brand System Elevation: Help the Design Team refine, maintain, and expand our visual brand identity across digital media, executive pitch decks, video graphics, and external collateral.
• Visual Consistency: Help the Design Team establish clear brand guidelines for motion graphics, typography, visual hierarchies, and layout systems to ensure every touchpoint feels cohesive.
• High-Stakes Presentation Design: Partner with leadership to craft persuasive, high-fidelity visual decks and video presentations for critical client pitches and internal executive alignment.

3. AI Exploration & Design Innovation

• AI Tool Integration: Actively research, test, and integrate generative AI design and video tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, Stable Diffusion, ElevenLabs, ChatGPT/Claude for ideation) into daily design pipelines.
• Rapid Prototyping & Concept Art: Utilize AI-assisted workflows to generate rapid mood boards, visual treatments, and concept art, speeding up early-stage narrative exploration.
• Workflow Optimization: Establish best practices and ethical guidelines for leveraging AI tools to boost creative output without compromising visual quality or brand integrity.

Requirements

We are looking for:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in visual communication, video editing/motion design, graphic design, or multimedia storytelling.
• Mastery of Video & Motion Pipelines: Expert-level skills in video editing, motion graphics, color grading, audio timing, and post-production.
• Storyboarding Expertise: Proven ability to sketch or digitally construct clear, expressive storyboards that effectively communicate narrative arcs and visual direction.
• Brand & Graphic Hierarchy: Deep background in typography, graphic layout, information design, and managing end-to-end brand identity systems.
• Emerging Tech Curiosity: Hands-on experience or active experimentation with generative AI media tools for visual generation, storyboarding, or editing workflows.

Key Toolkit & Software:

• Video & Motion: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar NLE/motion software.
• Visual Communication & Layout: Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Generative AI Tools: Midjourney, Runway (Gen-2/Gen-3), Stable Diffusion, Adobe Firefly, or equivalent generative media platforms.
• Storyboarding: Figma, Procreate, Photoshop, or dedicated pre-visualization software.
