VMware VCF Deployment Specialist (Full-Time Traveler)

Location: Travel Required (Nationwide/Global)
Clearance Requirement: Minimum Secret Clearance (We can also hold a TS and/or TS/SCI)

Salary: 130-160K (depending on experience)

We are seeking highly skilled VMware VCF Deployment Specialists to join our team. This role requires full-time travel and an active Secret clearance (or higher). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in deploying, upgrading, and maintaining VMware vSphere, ESXi, vSAN, and NSX environments, with a strong preference for expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) management. You can live anywhere USA but must be within proximity to a major airport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments.
  • Upgrade and optimize vSphere, ESXi, vSAN, and NSX infrastructures.
  • Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues.
  • Ensure system security and compliance in accordance with DoD and government standards.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver seamless deployment solutions.
  • Maintain documentation and best practices for VMware environments.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance (minimum)
  • Extensive experience in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vSAN, and NSX
  • Proven ability to deploy, upgrade, and maintain VCF environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel full-time to various client sites

Preferred Qualifications:

  • VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP, or equivalent).
  • Experience working in DoD or government environments.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for VMware deployments.
