We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Business Banking team as Team Leader.

Principal Responsibilities

• The jobholder will lead, coach, manage and develop a team of Business Banking RMs to deliver bespoke strategic objectives to acquire, retain, and grow International SME Commercial Banking (CMB) customer relationships for HSBC
• To participate in strategic decisions to drive the BB business forward, with a strong focus on high value, quality domestic and international customers and prospects.
• To drive best practice in lending and risk policies ensuring this remains in line with economic and market practices.
• Owning customer engagement, ensuring service excellence at all times, for all aspects of any customer, prospect or professional’s interaction with HSBC and to improve customer engagement.
• Optimising the potential value and profitability of existing relationships by assisting in the delivery of solutions, products and services appropriate to meet customer need.
• Maintaining credit quality and leading a high performing team of business banking relationship managers and support managers.

Qualifications

• Graduate /Post graduate with at least 8-10 years of relevant experience of lending in Commercial Banking.
• Driving a high performance culture across the team delivering customer and financial objectives.
• Driving digital product penetration and cross sell to existing and new customers.

Pro-Tip: Familiarity with AI-enabled tools is an advantage.

Mandatory to successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required
