About Citco Middle Office Solutions (MOS)

Citco Middle Office Solutions (MOS) is a core component of our integrated fund services platform, delivering end-to-end operational support across the trade lifecycle for complex fund structures.

Our offering combines deep domain expertise, proprietary technology, and global delivery capabilities to provide clients with enhanced control, transparency, and efficiency across their middle office operations.

Key service areas include:

Collateral Management – margin calculation, dispute resolution, collateral optimisation, and regulatory margin service.

Treasury – OTC settlements, cash and security movements, and payment execution through Citco’s treasury infrastructure.

Trade Operations - independent validation and reconciliation of trade data (on trade date) across internal systems and external counterparties, ensuring accuracy, timely resolution of discrepancies, and readiness for settlement.

Delivered through Citco’s proprietary platforms MOS provides a seamless, technology-enabled operating model that integrates data, processes, and reporting to support the evolving needs of alternative asset managers.

Strategic Leadership & Platform Evolution

  • Lead the Middle Office Solutions (MOS) Trade Operations function across Europe, with full accountability for delivering a scalable, high-quality operating model supporting a diverse institutional client base.
  • Shape and execute the strategic vision for Trade Operations, driving the evolution of the platform toward increased automation, standardisation, and operational excellence.
  • Play a key role in defining the future state of the MOS offering, ensuring alignment with broader business growth objectives and market trends.

Transformation & Innovation

  • Champion operational transformation initiatives, leveraging technology and process re-engineering to enhance efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and improve client outcomes.
  • Partner with Product and Technology teams to design and deliver a differentiated, best-in-class proprietary middle office platform.
  • Drive prioritisation and execution of the MOS development roadmap, ensuring continued innovation and competitive positioning.

Client & Commercial Impact

  • Act as a senior representative of the MOS platform in client engagements, contributing to business development efforts, client pitches, and solution design discussions.
  • Build and maintain strategic client relationships, positioning MOS as a trusted partner and value-add solution for middle office outsourcing.
  • Support revenue growth through expansion of services, optimisation of client operating models, and delivery of scalable solutions.

Change Delivery & Client Onboarding

  • Oversee the successful onboarding and integration of new clients, working closely with Data Operations and Integration teams to ensure seamless transition into the MOS platform.
  • Ensure new mandates are delivered efficiently, with a strong focus on scalability, standardisation, and time-to-market.

Risk, Governance & Control Framework

  • Establish and maintain a robust risk and controls framework across all Trade Operations processes, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory expectations.
  • Partner with Internal Audit and Quality Control functions to continuously enhance governance standards and operating discipline.
  • Ensure effective escalation and management of risk events across both onshore and outsourced locations.

Operational Excellence & Global Consistency

  • Drive global standardisation of processes, controls, and operating models to enhance consistency, scalability, and efficiency across the MOS platform. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen service delivery and reduce operational risk.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing, multi-location team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and client focus.
  • Own strategic workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development within the Trade Operations function.
  • Provide mentorship and strategic guidance to senior team members, including the Vice President, to strengthen leadership depth and operational execution.

Skills & Experience

  • Deep expertise in trade operations, with a strong track record overseeing trade matching, exception management, and reconciliation across complex, high-volume environments.
  • Good knowledge of OTC derivatives, listed products and complex financial instruments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, design and optimise trade operating models, and leverage technology to enhance data integrity, reduce risk, and deliver scalable, high-quality outcomes within a client-focused, global platform.
