Job Description
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Marketing and Product is a critical member of the executive leadership team, responsible for building and executing Koroseal’s go-to-market strategy through an integrated approach to brand, product, and sourcing. This leader ensures the organization brings a clear and compelling message to market, supported by a differentiated product portfolio and enabled by a high-performing distributed product sourcing strategy. With oversight of marketing, product development, and purchasing, this role connects market insight to execution, driving growth, margin expansion, and long-term competitive advantage.
This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer, is based onsite at the Medina corporate office, and requires approximately 10-15% domestic and international travel.
Key Responsibilities
• Go-to-Market & Brand Leadership
• Build and lead the company’s go-to-market strategy, ensuring alignment across marketing, product, and sales
• Define brand positioning and messaging that clearly articulates value and differentiation in the market
• Lead the development of a modern, digitally enabled marketing strategy, including web, content, and data-driven demand generation
• Oversee demand generation, content strategy, and commercial enablement to drive revenue growth
• Ensure consistent brand execution across all customer touchpoints
• Leverage data and analytics to continuously evaluate and refine marketing effectiveness
• Enterprise Product & Portfolio Strategy
• Define and lead the enterprise product strategy across product lines
• Shape a differentiated, market-driven portfolio aligned to customer needs, design trends, and growth priorities
• Oversee product lifecycle management, ensuring disciplined decisions around introduction, optimization, and rationalization
• Translate market, customer, and competitive insights into actionable portfolio strategies
• Distributed Product Sourcing & Commercial Strategy
• Lead the strategy for distributed product sourcing, positioning it as a core driver of go-to-market success
• Identify, evaluate, and develop supplier partnerships that enhance the product portfolio and strengthen market position
• Align product selection, pricing, and supplier strategy with margin and growth objectives
• Establish performance expectations and accountability with suppliers related to quality, reliability, and innovation
• Monitor market trends and proactively evolve the distributed product offering
• Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution
• Partner with Sales leadership to align go-to-market and product strategies with customer and channel opportunities
• Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure product availability and execution readiness
• Work closely with Finance to drive pricing strategy, margin optimization, and forecasting accuracy
• Ensure alignment across functions to deliver a seamless and consistent customer experience
• Organizational Leadership
• Build and develop high-performing leadership teams across marketing, product, and purchasing
• Establish clear priorities, accountability, and performance standards
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the CEO and executive leadership team
• All other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience across marketing, product management, sourcing, or broader commercial functions
• Proven executive-level commercial leadership experience, with a track record of driving revenue growth, market share expansion, and margin improvement
• Direct ownership of P&L performance, with demonstrated ability to make strategic tradeoffs across pricing, product mix, cost structure, and investment priorities
• Experience building and executing integrated go-to-market strategies in a B2B environment
• Strong background managing complex product portfolios, including both manufactured and distributed or third-party product lines
• Demonstrated success aligning product, brand, and sourcing strategies to deliver competitive differentiation
• Experience leading and developing multi-functional teams, including senior leaders, across marketing, product, and purchasing
• Strong financial and business acumen, with deep understanding of pricing strategy, cost drivers, and profitability levers
• Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels, translating vision into disciplined execution
• Proven ability to influence at the executive and board level, build alignment, and lead through change
• Must be able to walk and sit for long periods of time, ability to lift up to 20lbs safely
