Senior Vice President, Finance, Compliance & Operations Audit

About your role:

The Senior Vice President of Finance, Compliance, and Operations Audit, will collaborate closely with the Chief Audit Executive to craft, prioritize, and execute a cutting-edge audit engagement strategy framework, to be deployed and managed enterprise wide. The SVP (FinOps) will be accountable for overseeing the development, execution, and delivery of the respective portion of the Audit Plan across different business segments and regions. This pivotal role offers exposure to the Executive Team and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.

What you'll do:

  • Establish a sustainable and risk-based process to ensure audit coverage for the Cybersecurity and Technology auditable entities within Fiserv
  • Lead or support various due diligence activities for potential transactions, including potential initiatives tied to merger integration activities.
  • Develop and incorporate appropriate strategies to incorporate and apply automation and continuous monitoring techniques into the audit plan for the relevant auditable entities.
  • Provide insight to the Chief Audit Executive and executive management through consultation and proactive communication.
  • Provide subject matter expertise as necessary for high-profile incidents and prepare detailed reports on finding and suggestive corrective actions.
  • Serve as a liaison and representative as necessary in regulatory interactions.
  • Lead and build a team of highly effective auditors

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 15+ years of relevant audit, finance, or risk and compliance experience with progressive leadership responsibilities in a financial services organization, governmental agency, military institution, law enforcement, Fortune 500 environment, or leading professional services firm
  • 10+ years of experience leading strategic initiatives, managing critical functions and reporting to executives.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Relevant professional certifications, such as CIA, CISA, CFE, CPA, and working knowledge of NIST and COSO, or other alternative frameworks

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Relevant graduate degree
  • Fintech industry experience

How you’ll work:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
