Job Description

As a SVP, Digital Product Manager within Citi Wealth, you will be responsible for defining the digital product strategy for our clients, managing a portfolio of digital products, and working closely with a team of peer product managers to deliver innovative and impactful solutions. You will translate high-level business objectives and complex client needs into strategic wealth management product initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and data-driven decision-making within the product group. Leading the strategy for our US Consumer Wealth self-directed and managed account digital features across client channels, you will partner horizontally with peer product groups and business stakeholders to deliver best-in-class enhancements. You will move with speed to deliver for our clients in support of our Digital Wealth roadmap; consistent with the pace of financial services and technology industries. The ideal candidate for this role has delivered organizational-wide innovations at scale, has a keen sense of user experience and technical acumen, and has a proven track record of measured improvements to commercial and client KPIs/OKRs.

Responsibilities:

  • · Leads the end-to-end digital client experience as a lead digital product manager supporting our US Consumer Wealth products and enhancements.
  • · Leads the partnership with technology stakeholders (engineering, UX/UI, QA) to strategize, prioritize, and deliver innovative client-first solutions.
  • · Uses or commissions research, studies and focus groups to identify best-in-class benchmarks for solving business problems.
  • · Defines and measures the OKRs & KPIs for our digital platform products.
  • · Is able to make trade-off decisions on multiple platform products in a portfolio.
  • · Analyzes digital product performance using tools such as Adobe, Glassbox, Qualtrics, Splunk, and Tableau reporting.
  • · Develops business and platform requirements end-to-end.
  • · Partners with business stakeholders to translate business goals into actionable client experience improvements with technology.
  • · Determines release goals for a narrow platform product or a component of a large product.
  • · Identifies best practices for continuous product development improvement.
  • · Identifies innovations and leads “test and learn” experiments to create platform products that increase client value.
  • · Clearly communicates progress and product performance to key stakeholders.
  • · Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • · 10+ years of experience in Digital, Technology, and Financial Services·
  • · Prior Digital Product management experience within financial services, a leading tech company, or an early/growth stage funded start.
  • · Prior leadership experience across Wealth businesses, especially digital wealth management and/or client experience.
  • · Mastery of agile product development in partnership across business stakeholders, technology groups, and go-to-market teams.
  • · Entrepreneurial mindset, digital savviness, and strategic thinking to deliver a truly innovative client-first wealth management solutions from 0 to 1.
  • · Able think big, challenge norms, and expand our thinking to deliver a Wealth platform that brings great client value as well as drives business goals.
  • · Ability to create a multi-year vision, roadmap, and plan to execute in support of our goals with a go-to-market approach layered in (commercialization).
  • · Consumer-centric; empathetic towards the client with the ability to put yourself in their shoes.
  • · Obsession with digital products inside and outside of financial services – where are the trends in the industry and where can Citi leapfrog the competition?
  • · Ability to create OKRs, communicate our ways of measurement, and socialize progress towards our objectives & goals on a regular basis.
  • · Distinct analytical background with the ability to find data, analyze the information, derive insights, and distil the results quickly and turn it into actionable business strategy.
  • · Strong understanding of technical problems and how to break down the work involved in solving them.
  • · A willingness, appetite, and perseverance to do what it takes to take the product from concept to launch.
  • · Sharp; you think on your feet, quickly come up with innovative solutions and are always one step ahead of the industry.
  • · Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • · Great team member and partner – willing to go the extra mile to support peers and elevate the talent of our Digital Product team.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
