Greencross Mt Gravatt is seeking an experienced Senior Veterinary Nurse to join our team and help deliver the exceptional standard of care we are known for. About the Role

This is a hands-on senior nursing role where you’ll also play an important part in team development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • General nursing duties, including pre- and post-operative care, pathology, and emergency/critical care
  • Assisting with surgical procedures and performing minor procedures where required
  • Supporting and mentoring junior nurses
  • Encouraging team development and knowledge-sharing
  • Maintaining clinic hygiene, including surgical areas and equipment
  • Managing client enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email

About You

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2+ years’ clinical experience (senior or mentoring experience highly regarded)
  • Strong surgical skills and confidence across general nursing procedures
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for patient care
  • A team-first mindset with the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with RX Works (desirable, not essential)
