Let’s Talk About the Role
We are seeking a Verification & Validation (V&V) Senior Engineer who is curious, analytical, and motivated to transform how engineering work gets done. In this role, you won’t just execute V&V activities - you’ll contribute to rethinking how they operate, using data, automation and AI to reduce rework, improve clarity, and support better decision-making.
You’ll support the evolution of product V&V in a regulated environment - helping ensure safety and compliance while contributing to scalable and insight-driven workflows. If you enjoy solving ambiguous problems this role will give you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Let’s Talk About Key Responsibilities
Be a Transformation Driver: Reframe and diagnose complex V&V and system-level challenges, identifying root causes across workflows, tools, and organisational boundaries.
Redesign Ways of Working: Design and implement changes that shift how V&V is performed; moving beyond incremental improvements to transformation of V&V.
Lead AI-Enabled System Design: Integrate AI into V&V as part of a broader system; defining context, guardrails and feedback loops to ensure outputs are reliable, auditable and trusted.
Establish Signal & Evaluation Frameworks: Define how success is measured; developing benchmarks, experiments, and validation approaches to ensure automation and AI are improving outcomes, not masking issues.
Embed Scalable Change: Ensure new approaches are adopted and sustained - balancing technical solutions with behavioural and cultural
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science.
5+ years of experience in Verification & Validation, Systems Engineering, or related functions within a regulated industry, with demonstrated technical leadership in complex projects.
Proven track record applying AI and automation to engineering workflows—covering areas such as predictive analytics, automated decision support, testing automation or large-scale data integration.
Strong working knowledge of requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Jama, Jira) and use of data science environments (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Jupyter).
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into strategic recommendations for leadership and cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
Substantial experience in medical devices or similarly regulated industries.
Demonstrated contributions to AI in regulatory, quality, or compliance contexts (e.g., AI-assisted documentation, automated coverage analysis, predictive risk management).
