About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Verification & Validation Engineer to lead end-to-end product verification and validation across the development lifecycle.

This is a hands-on, technical role responsible for defining verification strategies, leading complex test programs, and ensuring products meet functional, performance, reliability and regulatory requirements before release.

Working closely with hardware and firmware teams, you’ll provide independent technical judgment, strengthen product quality, and drive evidence-based validation outcomes, with a strong focus on practical hardware and power electronics validation.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and own Verification & Validation Plans aligned to product requirements
  • Define test strategies across functional, environmental, reliability and compliance domains
  • Lead complex electrical and electronic validation activities
  • Ensure clear traceability between requirements and verification evidence
  • Analyse test data, identify technical risk, and drive corrective actions
  • Contribute to design reviews to improve testability and reduce late-stage defects
  • Strengthen validation processes, frameworks and lab capability

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related Engineering discipline
  • 8+ years’ experience in verification, validation or test engineering
  • Strong experience validating complex electrical/electronic hardware products
  • Hands-on capability with lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power analysers, HV equipment, DAQ systems)
  • Experience building structured test plans, procedures and reports
  • Strong analytical skills and root cause investigation capability
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams with data-driven insights

Why Tritium?

  • Work on technology that’s genuinely shaping the future of transport, not just talking about it.
  • See your impact in the real world, with our chargers deployed globally.
  • Free on-site DC fast charging for your EV.
  • Novated leasing and meaningful employee savings benefits.
  • Flexible access to your earned wages.
  • Global career pathways in a high-performance engineering environment.
