Are you looking for an inspiring career? You just found it.
Getinge is looking for a UX/UI Designer to join the Digital Health Solutions (DHS) Commercialization team, focused on elevating the customer experience and shaping user-centered and visually consistent digital interfaces.
In this role, you will transform complex workflows into intuitive and easy-to-use designs that make it simple for users to navigate, complete tasks, and interact efficiently with our services. You will play a key role in creating a seamless and cohesive experience across all touchpoints, with a strong focus on visual consistency and interface quality.
DHS delivers digital solutions that support and streamline sterile supply, surgical, and patient workflows, as well as connected service solutions. By simplifying daily work through intuitive, easy-to-use solutions and clear, real-time insights, we help healthcare professionals work more efficiently and deliver high-quality patient care.
About this opportunity
As one of two UX/UI Designers for our customer portal (myGetinge) and device lifecycle management solutions (FleetView), you will be co-responsible for driving a user-centered design approach in feature development, grounded in a deep understanding of our users and their needs.
Together, these solutions support service operations and enable a seamless customer experience, helping minimize administrative burden on healthcare staff and ensure equipment performance whenever it is needed. As connected solutions used in critical healthcare environments, they place high demands on usability, reliability, and clarity, shaping intuitive experiences that allow healthcare professionals to focus on what matters most.
The position is located at our office in Nordhavn, Copenhagen, with a hybrid setup offering the possibility to work from home 3–4 days per week. Occasional travel may be required.
What you will do
As a UX/UI Designer, you will develop a strong understanding of our end users (their behaviors, needs, and challenges) and translate this into thoughtful, user-centered design. You will make design decisions that create intuitive and visually consistent experiences, improve usability, and make a real difference in practice.
In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to stakeholders, shaping solutions from early concepts through to delivery. You will constructively challenge ideas and ways of working while maintaining a positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset.
The UX/UI Designers are part of the DHS Commercialization team, where we ensure customers remain at the center of decision‑making and that our connected solutions deliver strong value for end users. You will collaborate closely with the existing UX/UI Designers, as well as key stakeholders such as the Product Owner, Research and Development teams, and Global Sales. Together, you will validate design decisions, ensure consistency across touchpoints, conduct usability testing, and iterate on concepts to deliver a cohesive and user‑friendly product experience.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Identify needed user studies and the appropriate level of user involvement
Plan and perform user studies and usability tests in‑house or at customer sites
Identify the stakeholders who need to participate in these studies and usability tests
Assist the Product Owner in identifying and clarifying customer needs and requirements

Explore and apply AI-driven insights and workflows to support concept development, user research, and continuous design improvement
Define interaction patterns best suited to the context
Create overall design concepts and UI design specifications
Maintain a strong focus on usability across all solutions
Ensure consistency across systems
Follow DHS product design guidelines to the extent that they make sense for the product
Communicate design effectively to Developers, Testers, and Technical Writers
