The Role

We’re looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer with strong experience in reporting, analytics, and B2B decision-support tools. You’ll be the dedicated designer for a client-facing reporting and analytics product within a major US healthcare environment- focusing on employer-facing insights that help organizations understand their member populations and make informed decisions.

Although you’ll work independently day-to-day on this product, you’ll be fully supported by Zenitech’s wider design team and aligned with the ecosystem of other related products. The role requires someone who is confident working with evolving requirements, comfortable engaging directly with product and business stakeholders, and able to help shape clarity and direction through structured thinking and well-reasoned design.

This work suits a designer who enjoys problem-solving, shaping early requirements, and contributing to product strategy while delivering high-quality UX/UI outcomes.

While this role focuses on a specific product area, our business model means you’ll also work across different clients and domains over time. Therefore, strong, well-rounded senior-level UX and UI capability is essential.

This role also offers optional People Lead responsibilities, supporting 5-8 designers. It sits separately from your individual contributor responsibilities and includes additional compensation.

What you will do

• Translate early or shifting requirements into clear concepts, flows, and visual structures
• Define reporting layouts, hierarchy, filtering logic, and insight presentation patterns
• Collaborate closely with product owners and business stakeholders to clarify use cases and expectations
• Contribute ideas that support product strategy, roadmap definition, and long-term vision
• Design UI components, dashboards, and data-heavy interfaces with clarity and precision
• Partner with researchers (where relevant) to validate comprehension and usability
• Work with engineers to ensure designs are feasible, consistent, and well-integrated across the platform
• Contribute reporting-related patterns and components to the shared design system
• Maintain alignment with the wider design and product ecosystem

Requirements

• Strong experience designing B2B dashboards, analytics tools, or reporting interfaces
  
• Excellent information architecture and structuring skills, especially when handling complex or incomplete data sets
  
• Confident UI craft with strong attention to hierarchy, density, and readability
  
• Experience shaping ambiguous requirements and bringing clarity through design
  
• Ability to contribute ideas that influence product direction and stakeholder understanding
  
• Skilled communicator who can explain rationale clearly and facilitate alignment
  
• Comfortable operating independently while staying connected to a broader design team
  
• Adaptable and confident working across new domains as part of consultancy-style delivery

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with BI tools or data visualisation frameworks (e.g., Highcharts, D3, Looker)
• Experience designing for healthcare, insurance, or complex information domains
• Familiarity with accessibility principles (WCAG)
