Job Description

Location: Wroclaw

We are looking for a UX/UI Designer to join us on-site to design experiences that ship inside our desktop browsers and adjacent products. You will be responsible for the visual and interaction design of features integrated directly into our browsers, as well as ongoing work on our cashback platform — including a full UI overhaul of the cashback surface, refresh of the browser extension, and design of new flows around digital wallets, alternative payout methods, card promotion, and guest-to-account conversion.

Your designs will reach a global audience across multiple international markets and will need to feel native both inside a polished mainstream browser and inside a bold, gamer-focused product.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end UX/UI for features inside Opera One and Opera GX desktop browsers — from early concepts to pixel-perfect specs handed to engineering.

  • Lead the redesign and ongoing evolution of Opera Cashback

  • Design the cashback browser extension refresh and its in-product entry points across both browsers.

  • Design new user flows around the product.

  • Partner with PMs, engineers, legal and marketing on multi-country rollouts;

  • Contribute to and extend Opera's design systems.

  • Run usability reviews, prepare prototypes for stakeholder demos, and iterate based on data and user feedback.

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years designing consumer-facing digital products, ideally desktop software, browsers, browser extensions, or fintech/payments products.

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating both UX thinking (flows, IA, problem framing) and UI craft (typography, spacing, motion, polish).

  • Fluency in Figma, including components, variants, variables/tokens, auto-layout and prototyping.

  • Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system.

  • Ability to design for multiple brand expressions and audiences — e.g. mainstream productivity users vs. gamers.

  • Comfort working with engineering on implementation details and platform constraints (Chromium-based desktop apps).

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing for crypto, web3 wallets, payments, cards, or cashback / loyalty products.

  • Familiarity with influencer/affiliate marketing flows.

  • Background in motion design or prototyping tools beyond Figma.

  • Polish language skills.
