You’ll play a critical role in helping your team understand user needs and will drive impact at all stages of product development, ensuring products are useful, usable, and helpful. You will explore user behaviors and motivations by conducting primary research, including: field studies, interviews, diary studies, ethnography, surveys, usability testing, and logs analysis. You will also grow within a supportive UXR community offering mentorship, regular meetups, and exclusive internal tools.
The Retail Ads team builds ad formats that aim to present the most useful and relevant information to assist users' shopping journeys. We work on end-to-end systems that span across backend systems and frontend rendering infrastructures. We use data heavily, relying on analytical mindset to make business decisions, and work on fun ideas, improving the experience that billions of users worldwide interact with on a daily basis, including ourselves.

You’ll conduct qualitative and quantitative research to explore shopping journeys, understand ad product experiences, and partner cross-functionally to conceptualize and validate innovative solutions to deliver a seamless user experience. You’ll explore new solutions to the problems you identify and work with Product, Design, and Engineering to make those experiences come to life.
