We are looking for a Senior UX Researcher to help us design and shape the next generation of user interaction for the Network Intelligence products suite, used in mission-critical investigative and analytical workflows.

You will lead research discovery and validation across complex, data-dense experiences, helping teams reduce risk, improve adoption, and make better product decisions.

This role works in close collaboration with UX Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and domain experts.

As a Cognyter you will:

• Own the UX research and discovery for the Network Intelligence products suite
• Use and recommend modern research practices, tools, and techniques
• Develop and provide research frameworks, templates, and best practices tailored for the network intelligence domain and the special needs of our customers.
• Lead research discovery: problem framing, assumptions validation, and insight synthesis
• Collect, analyze, and summarize customer feedback from all channels
• Analyze collected data to identify user goals, needs, motivations, mental models and pains shaping their decisions and habits.
• Translate research findings into insights to create personas, map user journeys, and document user behaviors and attitudes
• Partner closely with UX Designers, PMs, Engineers, and domain experts to design workflows and solution that meet the needs of our customers
• Stay current on UX trends, tools, and methods to continuously align our product UX with industry standards and best practices.
• Act as a research quality bar for NI products, ensuring rigor without slowing delivery

Requirements

For that mission you’ll need:

• 5+ years in UX Research or Product Research
• Experience researching complex B2B / enterprise / analytics products
• Experience working on long-lived, evolving products
• Proven ability to influence product decisions through research
• Strong qualitative research skills and applied methodologies
• Experience researching data-heavy and cognitively complex interfaces
• Ability to frame problems, test assumptions, and synthesize insights
• Comfort working in ambiguity and fast-moving environments
• Strong understanding of UX, product design, and delivery constraints

Nice to have:

• Experience in intelligence, security, investigative, or analytics tools
• Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows, trust, and explainability UX
• Experience enabling designers to run research
• Experience working closely with design systems and complex workflows
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools
