• Usability Engineering & LUXCE

Are you an experienced UX Data Analyst interested in contributing to improving the user experience within hearing technology? And would you like to work for an international company that improves the quality of life for people with hearing loss around the world?

Technical skills and creativity

You will join Usability Engineering and Device Lean UX Center of Excellence within R&D at Demant - a team of around ten specialists responsible for device UX, usability design and compliance across our hearing aids, accessories and supporting systems.

Our task is to shape, monitor, and measure user experience, interaction and usability throughout the entire development process, from idea to launch and beyond. That takes a deep understanding of customer and user needs, combined with a technical and creative approach.

You will work alongside our Usability Engineers and UX Domain Architect. Your primary responsibility will be to build the data foundation, tools and standards that make our user research and usage data measurable, comparable and actionable across the organization.

The team works across functions within R&D, QA/RA, Sales & Marketing, and Product & Portfolio Management. You will therefore work closely with a broad range of stakeholders. #LI-HYBRID #LI-CC1

You can look forward to the following responsibilities

• Data engineering and Power BI: Build and maintain dashboards and data pipelines that bring UX insights together with market, product and usage data from our wider data sources.
• Data management and governance: Establish the structure, taxonomy and quality standards for our research repository, so studies can be found, reused and compared over time by people and by AI.
• Storytelling and visualization: Support our engineers in analyzing and presenting their material so it lands with Epic Owners, Product Managers and leadership - from individual studies to cross-study synthesis. You will also be providing material for data-driven decisions on what to prioritize going forward.
• Methodological sparring: Advise on statistics and analytical design in usability tests and market studies (sample size, significance, benchmarking).
• AI in the analysis workflow: Explore and introduce ways AI can make prototyping, testing, analysis, synthesis and reporting more efficient - responsibly and in line with our data policies.

We imagine that you

• Have professional experience in data analysis, ideally in research, product development or quality environment. You may hold a BSc or MSc in a relevant field such as engineering, information science, data science or cognitive science.
• Are confident in Databricks, Power BI and in modelling data from multiple sources (SQL or equivalent).
• Have hands-on experience with AI tooling. We work in VS Code with GitHub Copilot.
• Are comfortable with quantitative methods and understand the value of qualitative research - and can bring the two together.
• Communicate complex material clearly and visually, to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership alike.
• Build trust and influence across teams without formal authority – you will be setting shared standards for data management in a group of experienced specialists.
• Work confidently in English in an international environment.
• Are comfortable in an agile setting, and may already have experience with Kanban, Scrum or SAFe.
• Preferably have some knowledge of IEC 62366 and ANSI/AAMI HE75 standard, and ideally ISO 14971 on risk management for medical devices.
