Scnd is a fast-growing company on a mission to bring services to e-commerce. We develop a solution tailored to the unique needs of large corporate clients (Siemens Energy, Allianz, Suez etc..). Our platform offers unparalleled flexibility, enabling seamless transactions, from direct customer-seller bookings to sophisticated request-for-proposal processes. At scnd, we're trailblazing in an uncharted territory, and we're looking for several Software Engineers to join the core development team.
As a Senior UI Engineer at scnd, you will be a vital part of our mission to transform e-commerce for services. You will design the front-end architecture for our new web app, integrate with APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Your role involves ensuring code quality, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical leadership, including mentoring junior developers. Additionally, you'll deploy and maintain applications using Kubernetes for scalability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design of the front end architecture for our new web application
• Integration with back end Restful APIs and other third party APIs
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other developers to identify requirements and implement an extensible UI architecture
• Implement automated testing ensuring code quality
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development lifecycles
• Write clean, efficient and maintainable code
• Troubleshoot and debug production and development environment issues
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the team
• Deploy and maintain applications using Kubernetes.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in developing web applications using React, Vue and/or SolidJs
• Experience with signals and reactive programming
• Experience with Tailwind css
• Expert in Typescript and Javacript
• Solid understanding of software development principles and design patterns
• Experience with Git
• Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, able to interface with external partners
• Fluency in English
