This position serves as the Senior TSIGS Subject Matter Expert (SME) & Support Liaison, providing enterprise‑level technical leadership, operational insight, training advisement, and cross‑agency coordination for TSIGS platforms including TSPRING, SCAMP, Team Sentinel, P‑LINE, fly‑away kits, and associated subsystems. TSIGS capabilities remain relevant, supportable, and aligned with real-world mission employment.
The ideal candidate brings decades of TSIG operational experience, multi-platform proficiency, advanced instructional expertise, and direct history supporting INSCOM, C5ISR, NSA, and partner agencies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior validator of Tier 1–3 TSIGS support technicians, ensuring technical proficiency across platforms such as TSPRING‑E/D, SCAMP, Sentinel variants, P‑LINE, and associated subsystems.
- Review Field Service Representative (FSR) reports to identify system trends, recurring issues, and modernization needs, and provide findings to program leadership.
- Deliver advanced SME support to helpdesk, field units, and operational teams based on extensive troubleshooting and multi‑platform TSIG experience.
- Advise training developers by reviewing, updating, and validating instructional materials, POIs, courseware, and technical checklists to ensure accuracy and alignment with field realities.
- Facilitate cross-service and cross-agency collaboration by organizing and leading TSIGS user groups involving Army, NSA, Navy, C5ISR, and partner organizations.
- Gather user feedback and real‑world TTPs to drive improvements in training, documentation, and engineering updates.
- Support developmental testing and evaluation within the System Integration Lab (SIL), assessing hardware obsolescence replacements, testing software patches, IAVAs, and system updates.
- Provide technical recommendations to engineering teams based on extensive SOVT, DT&E, and system modernization experience.
- Review and approve Product Support Hub content including Interactive TMs, Quick Reference Guides, modular training videos, and sustainment documentation.
- Moderate the Community Hub and Lessons Learned forums to capture tribal knowledge, validate user-submitted solutions, and maintain authoritative, accurate sustainment information.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain or hold a CI Polygraph.
- Extensive, multi-platform TSIGS/TSIG operational expertise, including systems such as TSPRING‑E/D, SCAMP, Team Sentinel, P‑LINE, and associated TSIGS subsystems.
- Proven experience serving as a senior TSIG trainer, curriculum developer, or master-level instructor, with the ability to review and validate courseware, POIs, and instructional materials.
- Demonstrated ability to provide Tier 1–3 technical support, including troubleshooting, helpdesk assistance, hardware/software validation, and system-level problem diagnosis for TSIG platforms.
- Experience leading or participating in Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E), SOVT, modernization activities, or system validation efforts in lab or field environments.
- Ability to collaborate with multi-agency partners (Army, NSA, Navy, C5ISR, international partners), including experience facilitating working groups, user forums, or cross-organizational coordination.
- Strong capability to review, edit, and validate sustainment documentation, such as TMs, checklists, training materials, and modernization guides.
- Deep understanding of TSIGS system components, RF subsystems, wideband transceivers, and related SIGINT engineering concepts, enabling authoritative technical advisement.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical issues to diverse audiences, including program leadership, engineers, trainers, and field units.
- Ability to work on-site full time at Aberdeen Proving Ground MD.
Preferred:
- Master‑level expertise across a broad range of TSIGS platforms, including TSPRING‑E, TSPRING‑D, SCAMP, Sentinel (Gen 2/3), Fly‑Away Kits, TMMRS, P‑LINE, and legacy/modernized subsystems.
- 20+ years of tactical, strategic, and national‑level SIGINT operational experience with deep familiarity across Army, INSCOM, C5ISR, and NSA environments.
- Advanced instructor certifications (NSA Adjunct Faculty, NCS Instructor, TRADOC Instructor Courses, Small/Large Group Certified) with a proven record of enterprise‑level curriculum development.
- Demonstrated leadership coordinating cross‑agency user groups or multinational TSIG forums, including previous collaboration with NSA, Army, Navy, and second‑party partners.
- Experience supporting modernization initiatives, SOVT, DT&E, capability validation, and fielding of emerging TSIGS/SIGINT technologies.
- Expertise diagnosing TSIGS hardware/software anomalies and conducting high‑level troubleshooting of RF components, collection subsystems, wideband transceivers, and antenna systems.
- Ability to translate field feedback, operational insights, and technical anomalies into structured engineering and training improvements.
- History of providing direct mentorship to helpdesk teams, FSRs, and operators to improve enterprise-wide readiness and reduce system downtime.
- Previous experience acting as a bridge between developers, trainers, helpdesk, and operational users to ensure system configurations remain accurate and supportable.
- Graduate‑level education in Intelligence Studies, Collection, GEOINT, or similar technical disciplines.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.– Four (4) additional years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education.

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $150000.00 to $210000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
