CANPACK Group is a leading manufacturer of sustainable packaging solutions with operations across multiple countries worldwide. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Treasury Specialist to join our Treasury Department on an 18-month maternity cover contract

What You'll Do

  • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions across the CANPACK Group.
  • Support financing activities, including loans, bonds, factoring facilities, guarantees, and other treasury products.
  • Monitor compliance with financing agreements, treasury policies, and internal controls.
  • Execute and oversee financial risk management activities, including FX and commodity hedging transactions.
  • Administer banking infrastructure, including bank accounts, e-banking platforms, payment cards, and user access management.
  • Prepare treasury analyses, reports, and recommendations related to liquidity, risk exposure, market developments, and financial instruments.
  • Coordinate supplier financing and working capital optimization initiatives.
  • Maintain treasury documentation, guarantees, securities, and banking records.
  • Participate in treasury projects, process improvements, and system implementations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and CANPACK standards.

What We're Looking For

Experience

  • 4-6+ years of experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, Banking, Financial Risk Management, Capital Markets, or a related area.
  • Experience with financing transactions, banking products, and financial markets.
  • Experience in an international organization will be an asset.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with treasury management and banking systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional treasury, finance, risk management, or capital markets certifications are a plus.

Knowledge

  • Treasury operations and cash management.
  • Financial markets and treasury products.
  • FX, commodity, and financial risk management.
  • Loans, bonds, factoring, and structured financing solutions.
  • Treasury controls, compliance, and governance frameworks.
  • Treasury reporting and financial analysis.

Language

  • English (C1/C2 level)
