Job Description

Position Purpose

Upholds the Credit Union's mission of "We do the right thing one member, one employee, and one experience at a time to strengthen the communities we serve" by serving as a senior-level treasury management resource for current and potential business members. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Treasury Management, this position is responsible for supporting, implementing, and optimizing treasury management products and services, managing complex service requests and implementations, and serving as a subject matter expert for treasury management systems, products, and procedures. This role partners closely with Treasury Management, Commercial Lending, Operations, and other departments to deliver exceptional member service and operational excellence.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Open new depository accounts as directed by Treasury Management or Commercial Lenders.
  • Prepare, track, and maintain product agreements and setup forms necessary to establish or maintain treasury management services.
  • Lead complex treasury management implementations and product setups for business members.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for advanced treasury management service issues, escalations, and troubleshooting.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve complex treasury management operational and servicing issues.
  • Coordinate communication for members and prospects, ensuring a seamless and timely service delivery process.
  • Collaborate with Treasury Management and Commercial Lenders to support team goals and member needs.
  • Refer and cross-promote additional credit union services to individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and government entities to other departments.
  • Support the delivery, implementation, maintenance, and servicing of treasury management solutions, including:
  • Digital Banking and Treasury Management Modules
  • Remote Deposit Capture
  • Merchant Services
  • Fraud Controls
  • Business Credit Cards
  • ACH Services
  • Positive Pay
  • Sweeps and other treasury products
  • Review treasury management agreements and documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist with testing, implementation, and enhancements of treasury management products, systems, and processes.
  • Develop and maintain department procedures, job aids, and training materials.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for treasury management products, systems, procedures, and related regulations.
  • Provide guidance and knowledge-sharing support to department team members and internal partners.
  • Assist in drafting proposals and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Participate in audits, examinations, compliance reviews, and remediation efforts related to treasury management services.
  • Deliver exceptional member service through active listening, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving.
  • Contribute to marketing and promotion strategies that enhance treasury management product awareness and engagement.
  • Attend relevant meetings and training sessions to stay current on policies, procedures, and regulations, including compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to assist Treasury Management and related support areas in completing tasks and work assignments.

Necessary Experience and Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a financial institution.
  • Minimum of three years of treasury management, cash management, business services, or related operational experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working with businesses, nonprofits, and public fund organizations is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting treasury management products, implementations, servicing activities, and complex member requests.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional member service, resolve complex issues, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Advanced working knowledge of:
  • NACHA rules and FFIEC guidance
  • Treasury management and cash management products and services
  • ACH processing and related regulations
  • Fraud prevention and risk mitigation tools
  • Credit union regulations
  • Treasury management agreements and documentation requirements
  • Proven ability to write clear and concise reports, procedures, memos, and professional correspondence.
  • Experience participating in audits, compliance activities, system testing, or process improvement initiatives preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and serve as a resource for team members and internal partners.
