Job Description

The Opportunity

As a Senior Treasury Accountant, you will support the Group Treasury Manager in delivering critical financial information that enables other departments to make sound and well-informed business decisions. In this role, you will assist with the efficient management of treasury operations, including daily and weekly cash forecasting, monthly reporting, and the administration of banking facilities and hedging activities. You will maintain and continuously improve treasury processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and internal standards.

This opportunity is offered as a 6 month fixed term contract based in our national head office in Pyrmont, 2009.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly cash forecasts and treasury reports to support financial planning and decision-making

  • Review and maintain all treasury process documentation, keeping systems and intranet resources current

  • Address audit queries, identify process improvements, and provide recommendations to enhance treasury operations

  • Manage bank guarantees, hedging positions for overseas capex, and the monthly factoring process

What you'll need to be successful

  • University degree (e.g. Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent)

  • Studying towards qualifications (CPA/CA)

  • SAP experience (essential)
  • Good Excel skills
