How you succeed
Focus on building strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients. Collaborate effectively with Trade Sales, Product Management, Relationship Managers, Credit Risk and Operations Teams. Drive the development and implementation of new SCF programs. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive go-to-market strategies and be ready to take on challenges in supporting new product initiatives. Stay ahead of competitive trends and regulatory changes in Supply Chain Finance. Successfully navigating these elements ensures the growth of our SCF portfolio and strengthens OCBC’s position in the region.
What You Do
1. Originate and structure Supply Chain Finance programs including but not limited to Accounts Receivables Purchase, Supplier (Payables) Finance, and other Working Capital Solutions
2. Manage risks related to the Supply Chain Finance portfolio through thoughtful and disciplined program structuring
3. Be responsible for entire deal cycle involving the preparation of transaction memos, liaison with external counsel, negotiation of terms, review of facility proposals and obtaining of trade approvals
4. Co-work with Team Head to devise and deliver sales and product expansion strategies
5. Lend support to activities as may be needed from new Supply Chain Finance product rollouts
6. Provide regional sales and structuring expertise and demonstrate thought leadership while keeping abreast of industry initiatives
7. Demonstrate a strategic business-first mindset in the delivery of ideas and solutions
8. Provide mentorship to junior staff
Who You Are
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field
You have at least 10-15 years of Banking, Trade and / or Supply Chain Finance experience
You possess a deep understanding of techniques, legalities and jurisdictional nuances surrounding Supply Chain Finance
You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
You have a deep understanding of trade financing instruments and techniques
You are detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
