The Senior Training Specialist position supports internal training related to Privacy & Compliance by developing, managing, and delivering high-quality content across multiple channels. In this role, you will consult with leaders, employees, Privacy & Compliance colleagues, and training and education peers to recommend solutions for risk-based employee training options based on specific needs and desired outcomes.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Understand the current training and communication environment and tools and identify gaps or new areas and determine appropriate methods and format for delivery of training.
  • Create and develop targeted training content to support the Privacy & Compliance strategic plan for employee training on related policies, procedures and key risk areas.
  • Build strong relationships with internal customers, such as Compliance, Privacy, and other Legal subject matter experts, training vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of Privacy & Compliance website resources.
  • Act as a positive and professional resource for teammates and business partners.
  • Model a culture of ethics and integrity.

Required knowledge and experience:

  • Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  • Experience in developing training content.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft products, especially Word and PowerPoint.
  • Practical knowledge of project management.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Nice to have knowledge and experience:

  • Visual design and branding experience.
  • Understanding of Privacy, Compliance, and Legal issues associated with physicians interactions, including anti-kickback and conflict of interest concerns and data privacy concerns.
  • Ability to work independently and manage learning projects.
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with employees at a variety of functional and management levels.
