As aSenior TheatrePractitioner(ODP) at our Tunbridge Wells Hospital,you’reregistered with theappropriate governingbody and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including HCPC registration. You bring a passion forhigh standardsin perioperative care, a meticulous eye for detail and post-registration experience.You’rea focused,flexibleand motivated team worker.
As aSenior TheatrePractitioner(ODP), you will:
Prioritise patient safety, takingappropriate actionsand encouraging colleagues to call out and report safety concerns.
Promote a safe working environment for patients,visitorsand staff (in full compliance with all policies and procedures)
Support governance activity, ensuring full compliance with Nuffield Health’s Quality governance framework and national standards, e.g. CQC/HIW/HIS Regulation, fundamentals of care, professionalstandardsand evidence-based guidelines.
Provide and lead care management and delivery, treating patients, families, friends and representatives with kindness, dignity,respectand compassion and support them to cope emotionally with their care,treatmentor condition.
Collaborate with other clinicians within the Hospital, building strong working relationships that enhance patient care and service delivery.
Take charge of a theatre, co-ordinating and delivering work activities and leading junior practitioners.

Our purpose-built hospital has been established since 1968. With 40 en-suite bedrooms, a busy outpatients and pre-assessment departments. We also provide a diagnostic imaging service (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography and X-ray), pathology, paediatric unit, surgical recovery ward, cancer care unit, 3 state of the art operating theatres and physiotherapy services.
